This upcoming year we're working on bringing back the tour of Environment Canada, launch of a high altitude weather balloon at the Stony Plain weather station and our annual storm chasing trip! Also this year we're planning a few mixers with other science department groups (such as UAGUS (GeoPhysics), Physics, EAS), we're going to go to an AMS conference in Austin, Texas and a CMOS conference in Saskatoon, SK, a ski trip and might even organize our own conference bringing Research Scientists to the University of Alberta!
